For fans who love to golf, Mick has teamed up with golf pro Jerry King and will soon be dedicating an area on this site which will provide monthly tips. There’s already a golf section on the site at MICK’s CHAT. Mick is a relative newcomer to golf but his skill for hitting that little white ball seems to be in tandem with the fact that for all of his professional life Mick has been hitting those skins! Jerry King, PGA, is the Head Teaching Professional at Kapalua Golf Academy in Maui and appears on the Golf Channel. Mick met Jerry in Hawaii and the two formed an instant bond.

Jerry has directed Kapalua’s golf instruction program since 1995. Prior to moving to Maui, Jerry was Teaching Professional at the Country Club of the Rockies in Vail, Colorado for a period of four years. He also worked in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida mentoring as an instructor under Mike Adams, Master Teaching Professional, at The Academy of Golf at PGA National. Since arriving at Kapalua, Jerry has given over 4,000 private lessons, as well as directed numerous group clinics and schools. Instrumental in the creation and design of the Kapalua Golf Academy, Jerry worked on all levels of project development and coordination for their state-of-the-art facility.
