Mick
Fleetwood has always had a passion for visual art as well
as music. He appreciates surrealism and is an avid fan of
Salvador Dali in particular. It is easy to draw
parallels and understand Mick’s passion for Dalí. Mick is a unique
artist - an unrivaled master of his craft. Master Dalí,
the most eccentric artist of the Twentieth Century, also marched to
the beat of a different drummer!
Mick previewed The Final
Editions of Salvador Dali, published by ARA Productions, LLC, in 2002.
After viewing these exciting new images (never before released as
hand-signed works) Mick recognized the opportunity to support his
favorite art and music charitable organizations and he decided to
collaborate with ARA on this important new project.
Mick selected seven of the twelve editions to
feature in The Mick Fleetwood Gallery
Collection:
Surrealist Matador
Disintegrating Mother &
Child
Surrealist Flower
The Mystery of Diamond
Head
DQ Trilogy:
The Warrior’s Heard
DQ Trilogy:
Gift
of Mandrino
DQ Trilogy:
The
Story of Don Quixote
Each fine art
lithograph bears the signature of Salvador Dalí. In addition, Mick
has personally signed the reverse of each archival sheet in this
special collection, which is displayed through a unique acrylic
window on the back of each custom-framed work of art. The
combination of Dalí’s signature on the front and Mick Fleetwood’s
signature on the reverse, make this a rare and unusual collection of
fine art lithographs!
A
portion of the proceeds from this project will go to support the
Arts. Mick negotiated with the publisher and also arranged for ARA
to contribute a portion of their revenue to his favorite charities.
Each client will receive a personal letter from Mick Fleetwood, with
special thanks for helping to support his selected charities
.
